Playing catch up

Well, I have been out of the blogging world for a while and I am so behind so I'll catch up on the important events that have happened over the last few weeks. First, my birthday. I have the best family in the world! Eli and the boys planned out the perfect day. We went up to Sheep Falls north of Ashton and went on a hike. The kids loved it and had fun throwing rocks and sticks into the river. Then we had a picnic at Big Springs and fed the fish. It was awesome except that I got stung by the biggest bee ever....and I was a big wuss about it. Then we made the loop over to Mesa and home. It was so pretty. The weather was awesome too. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. When we got home I got spoiled with some great presents too! It really was the best birthday I've ever had. Later that week we finished up Zach's preschool. For their last field trip I took them up to my Uncle's house to check out the baby chickens. The kids had a blast! They got to gather eggs, then we let them loose in the pasture to chase the chickens around. It was a lot of fun and reminded me of how much fun I had up there when I was little. The next day was Tyler's field day at school. It was FREEZING! but the kids could have cared less. I think they were worn out from all the races they did, but they had fun. It has been a busy month so far with more to come! I can't believe summer is right around the corner.

Batter Up!

Well, it is that time of year again. We decided to put Tyler in coach-pitch this year and it has been sooooo much better than t-ball. He loves it even though he thinks it is hard now because he can't hit a homerun every time he is up. His dad gets to help coach so it is even more fun (glad it's him and not me). We love to watch him play and get better each year. I just wanted to post some pictures of him before any more time passes me by and I forget how cute he looks in his uni.....especially when he gets to catch!
