Rigby Lake

Last month I finally got away and got the kids to Rigby Lake. We went with some of our good friends and the kids had a blast. The weather was perfect, and they have cleaned it up so nice. I would take the kids every day if I could. I remembered the life jackets this time and they had so much more fun...they were jumping in and splashing and swimming all over the place. Even Allie loved it. I took her out in a float and figured she'd start crying because the water was cold. I was so wrong. She wanted out of the float and in the water and only cried when I took her out. She is such a little fish, I love it.
The boys splashing around.
Allie trying to get to Sailee.
She is already a pop addict. If there is a can, she will find it!
Easton and Allie....he loves to hold her.

Warm River Float

Over the weekend we went up to Warm River with Eli's family for our annual float trip. My dad, Jacque and Reid happened to be floating the same day so we all got to go together. We started doing it last year for Cherie's birthday and everyone had a blast so now it's a tradition. Last year we went up to Big Springs but this time we tried the Warm River Float and loved it. It was a little bit faster so the kids weren't as "bored". The weather was perfect and the water felt great. My sisters are coming up this weekend so we get to do it all over again. It was so nice this year because the boys really enjoyed themselves. Tyler was having so much fun hitting the rapids. Zach loved hanging out in the canoe and helping us row down the river. They are getting so much fun to do things with. We have the best little boys in the world!

Ty and Zach explodin' it before the float. They were so pumped.

Allie wanted to ride in the boat too.

She thought it was the best toy ever! She wouldn't let me take her out. Look at that face, she is such a crazy little girl!

Anaconda

Over the weekend we were able to go to Anaconda, MT for Eli's softball tournament. We went up with a bunch of friends and had a lot of fun. The guys ended up playing 8 games over the weekend and took 4th out of 56 teams so they did awesome! It was so much fun to watch him play. The boys got to go to Grannies so there were no kids to chase down...even better. It kind of reminded me of the good old days and following him around to all of his legion games. There is nowhere that we'd rather be than a ball field. I'm glad that we went and that they played so good. The only thing that stinks is that Eli pulled his hammy the first day. Nothing like getting old.
All the wifeys staying out of the rain...kind of.
Allie watching her dad. She loved banging on the fence.
What a man....even when he smells like icy hot.

Our 4th of July

We had a great 4th of July like always. I started the day by running my first race. I just did the 5k here in town. I was so nervous because I AM NOT A RUNNER. I never have been. The last few years I have wanted to run a 5k just to see if I could push myself to do something hard. So many of you that read this are great runners, but this has been the hardest thing I have ever done. To make it worse I got sick a few days before the race and was getting bummed out that I wouldn't do very good at all. I had set a few goals for myself and found out today that I reached them all! I came in somewhere in the middle of the pack, but I wasn't last, I wasn't dead and I beat the time I had set for myself. I still don't like to run, but I'm sure I'll do it again. I'm just greatful for the support system I had at home. I never would have done it without Eli. He has been so encouraging and the best runing partner in the world. And honey.....now you know you can get me to the celestial kingdom! After the race we did the usual...parade, bbq at Grannies (her birthday is the 4th), them home for the neighborhood bbq and fireworks. We had a lot of fun with Uncle McKay blowing up his whistling pete's, and the kids had a blast all day long.

About 5 minutes after I crossed the finish line. Notice the red face. At least I am smiling. The boys just wanted to know if I won or lost.

My cousin Gavin and Aunt Bev. He is so awesome and plays the drums in every parade.

I don't know what is up with the face. I guess that is what "cheese" means when you're 4.

Little miss 4th of July. She loved that sucker and devoured it in about 2 seconds.

Zach's t-ball

I'm finally getting to a post about Zach's t-ball. He has been so excited to play this year. After watching his brother last month he about went out of his mind before he could play. He is so little, it has been fun to watch him. He wants to be just like his brother and dad and slides almost every time he comes home. It is as chaotic as ever, but so fun to watch when they are so innocent and not quite so competative...yet. Good job Zach! We love you!

Love the concentration!

Throwing home

Sliding in........safe!

Zach and Easton....two of the cutest little brown boys I know

Ready to play

My new hobby!

I started making these tutus after a friend gave me one at my baby shower. They are the cutest thing in the world! I love them so much that I've started selling them. They are perfect for gifts or to use for pictures. I just had Allie's pictures taken in one and they turned out so cute! I'll post the pictures soon. I'm setting up a table at Taylor Crossing today from 3-7 in the south building facing the river. (Short notice, I know). But if you don't make it, you can check out my new blog. You can place custom orders there and there are more pictures. Add the link to your blogs and tell your friends. I'm really excited about this and am trying to get the word out! http://www.littlechiquita.blogspot.com/.

Tyler's graduation and last baseball game

Last Thursday was a busy one for Tyler. We had his Kindergarten Graduation and last day of baseball. His graduation was so cute...and so hard for me. I'm such a baby! I was so excited the first day of school, and so ready to have him out of the house for a couple of hours but I was really having a hard time with him graduating. What a big boy! I guess I just realized how big he is getting and how fast it is happening. The program they put on was so cute. He loves to sing so it was fun to watch him sing all the songs they've been practicing. We are so proud of him and all that he has learned over the last year! That night he had his last baseball game of the year. The weather was great and it was a lot of fun to watch. He got some good hits and even got to come home this time! It seems like every time he's hit this year he's been thrown out or they make the 3rd out while he is on base. It went by so fast, but he had a lot of fun and got better every game! We love you Tyler!
