7 months old

Oh my, where does the time go. Allie is 7 months old today. She is getting so big already and her personality is really starting to show. She is a sweetheart and still the happiest baby I've ever seen, but there is a little stinker lurking inside her. She loves attention and is still getting spoiled by everyone around her. She has been scooting for a while and is finally figuring out how to really crawl. She is a quick one, just like her brothers....look out! I'm remembering what it is like to obsess about sweeping and vaccuming 10 times a day to keep the floor clean. She stood up in her crib the other day too. She is a talker (and a squaker) and just keeps getting busier and busier. (Right now she is under my feet trying to unplug the computer). I can't believe she is so big and doing so much. We sure love her. Just for kicks I tried to put her hair in a ponytail today and it worked. It is super tiny but I love it!

Yellowstone Park

We took a little family trip to Yellowstone on Saturday and it turned out to be one of the best trips up there we've ever had. Spencer's wife had never been (she's from Sugar...don't ask) so we took her to see Old Faithful. We had gotten a late start so after waiting for it to go off we headed back. We decided to go north a little farther before going home and it ended up being the best idea we'd had. Eli spotted some wolves! It was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen. There were 4 of them and they were stalking out a herd of buffalo. We watched them come across the meadow one at a time, then sit down and wait. After a while we decided to head home. About a couple miles from the entrance we came across a ton of cars. We hopped out to see what was going on and there was a grizzly across the river. It was so awesome to see. It was sleeping under a tree. We got some good pictures then it got up and came down to the river. It was HUGE! We watched it look for fish for a while then it headed back up the hill. It was a trip to remember. The kids loved it. I'm just thankful we live so close and can head up anytime. I could go any day of the week, it never gets old......Eli makes fun of me but it's ok.

Check out the claws on that bad boy.

The leader of the pack. They are so much bigger than you'd think!

6 months old

Just another reminder of how fast time is flying by. Our little baby is already 6 months old. She is such a happy little girl, I don't think I've ever seen a baby so happy all of the time. Now that I kicked the caffeine and she started solids she is sleeping so much better. Not through the night, but at least more than 2 hours at a time! Allie isn't wasting anytime growing up either. She has been rolling around the house for quite a while now and realized last week that getting up on her knees might be a better idea. Over the weekend she started scooting and now there isn't anything she can't get to. It's so cute to watch her get up on her knees and rock back and forth.....she is quite the mover. I guess when you've got busy brothers running circles around you, you have to do whatever you can to catch up. She is getting a pretty big personality too and has realized that if she does something funny everyone laughs. We can see a lot of Tyler in her......watch out! He hasn't stopped moving since the day he was born and she is headed on the same path. We love her so much, she definitely isn't getting robbed of any attention. It is so fun to watch her grow and to watch her brothers pack her around to play with her and dance with her....they'll do anything to make her laugh. What a lucky little girl to have brothers that love her so much!

Happy Birthday Zachary!

He finally got his shoes that will make him run fast!

The truck that Santa didn't bring...."that's what I'm talkin' bout"

I can't believe that Zach is 4! In my head he is still so little but every day that I look at him I'm reminded how big he is getting. Zach is our fearless little daredevil. He wants to ride dirt bikes when he grows up and gets a beard so he can do backflips....and I believe him. No jump on his bike is ever big enough. He is obsessed with dirt and wheels. If he can dig or build in the dirt/mud/snow he is happy as can be. And if it has wheels that will move he wants it. He told his dad the other day that he wants to build houses when he grows up. Hopefully that will be a good job to have again when he gets there.......He is such a happy kid, and our goofy little boy. Happy Birthday Buddy!
A content little birthday boy

Spencer and Brittney

Spencer and Brittney finally got to tie the knot on Saturday. The wedding was beautiful and turned out so nice. We got to spend the weekend with family and making sure everything ran smooth for Saturday. Brittney looked beautiful and Spencer couldn't keep his eyes off her all night. We are so excited for them! After the honeymoon they get to move in with us and rent out our downstairs. We're excited to have them here, and hope they feel the same once they're moved in :). Congratulations guys, and welcome to the family Brit!

Pretty girl

We finally did it! We took Allie in last week and got her ears pierced. They turned out so cute! She screamed for about five minutes and then she was fine. I tried to get a cute shot of her but she kept moving and her cheeks are too round to get a picture from the front so this is as good as it gets for now.

Goodbye tonsils!

For the past 4 months or so, poor little Zach's tonsils have decided to get bigger and bigger and bigger. The week before Christmas he started snoring like an old man and talking like he had a cold. They weren't really making him sick, but he was having trouble sleeping and hearing. We took him in and were told that not only were his tonsils ginormous but his ears were full of fluid. So we got the ok to get it all taken care of. Last Thursday he went in to get out his tonsils and adenoids out and tubes put in. Surgery went great. He was eating and drinking good in the hospital so they let us go home. That night he had a few popsicles and some ramen noodles, but he threw it right up. After that he wouldn't touch a thing. The next morning he was miserable and wouldn't drink anything or take his medicine. Right as we were getting ready to haul him back to the hospital to get him pumped full of more fluids he gave in and took some medicine. After that he was fine. It was an adventure for sure but Zach is a new little man and back to his old self.

Our brave little boy

He even helped pull out his I.V.
